A few years ago, I picked up a collection of Wodehouse books at a book sale, including some Jeeves and Wooster books as well as Psmith books. My wife has read a few of the Psmith series and says they're very good. They're on my TBR list, but it might be a while before I get there....but I'm glad you enjoyed them. They're definitely a fun read, even if like you said, the character development is minimal.
