		<description>Interesting.  The book didn&#039;t really work for me -- I was put off by the writing which wasn&#039;t really my style, and parts of the story felt cliched to me.  But I think the problem stems at least partly from the mood I was in at the time -- it wasn&#039;t the right time for me to read that book.  I can see why others would enjoy it!</description>

		<description>I am in complete agreement with your excellent review.  And I, too, want to read something else of Enright&#039;s and see if this is her usual style.
There is always so much gloom and doom in the Irish literature - somehow that seems to be almost a requirement!</description>
