Do you buy books while on vacation/holiday?
Do you have favorite bookstores that you only get to visit while away on a trip?
What/Where are they?
Yes, yes, I do buy books whilst on holiday. Usually, I don’t bring enough books with me, plus I love bookstores, even airport book stores.
My favorite bookstore in the whole wide world is Powell’s Books in Portland, Oregon. We tend to visit Portland about once a year, and Powell’s is always on the itinerary. A whole city block full of the pretty pretty books! I could spend hours and hours and hours (not to mention hundreds and hundreds of dollars) there.
I try to visit local bookstores where e’re I may be, because I think a local bookstore is a good place to go to get a good feel for a new city. What about you? What’s your favorite bookstore in the whole wide world?

I adore Powells, although I’ve only been once. Someday, I shall return. ;-)
I’m so bummed we didn’t go to Powell’s when we were there. Hopefully next time!
