My son is 7 and in 2nd grade..He read The Wooden Mile -Bk one
in Something Wickedly Weird series in about 70 min/174 pages..He really enjoyed this book so much that he read Book Two-Something Wickedly Weird-The Icy Hand ,the next day in about 65 min/176 pgs..He also really enjoyed reading all 8 books in Dripping Fang series ..written by Zach Files author(forgot his name)..Other favorites series: Spiderwick Chronicles, Lemony Snicket..Sort of David Lynch /Twin Peaks for kids if you will..

I recently purchased this for my 6th grade 11 year old daughter on Sunday and she finished it on Wednsday. That is a first for her, she was very excited about it and now she wants the whole series. She could not put it down. She will be working with one of her teachers to create and AR test for it. Finally found something she loved to read all the way thru just for fun!
