Jeane - Now that I think about it, I don't think I've read any books about Scottish immigrants either.

Chartroose - As for the "racy" parts, this definitely qualifies as a romance novel. There are descriptions and actions, but nothing too shocking (for adults).

Matt - Thank you so much for the award!! I'm feeling the karma.

Meghan - I had the same pull to this book. I kept thinking about the characters even when I wasn't reading.

Christine - I'm so thrilled to have hosted your blog tour, and I look forward to future books!

Jessica -

Thank you for helping me wind up my virtual book tour with such a wonderful review. As a debut author trying to build an audience, I do so appreciate receiving a positive review on your lovely blog.

Best Regards,

I think what's great about this book is that not only is the story compelling and interesting, I just kept wanting to go back to it. I've been reading a lot lately and I'm okay with putting down a surprising number of books, but not this one.

I'm spreading good karma to start off the work week. Someone pats me on the shoulder on an award. Now I have to pass on the love. I have given you an award. :)

I haven't read any, either. Plenty of Irish, no Scots. I'd like you to elucidate the "racy" stuff a little more! 0 :
