Bookworms Carnival – Call for Entries

in Book Events

The Bookworms Carnival, started by the late Dewey @ The Hidden Side of a Leaf, is a semi-monthly blog carnival that collects book blog posts centered on a particular theme.

The 23rd edition of the Carnival will be hosted here at The Bluestocking Society.  The theme is “books to movies,” which encompasses anything book and movie related: books adapted into movies, movies adapated from books, books about movies, movies about books, etc.

In conjunction with the Carnival, I hosted the Lit Flicks Challenge for the past six months in an effort to get people thinking about literature and film.

To enter the Carnival, send me an email [thebluestockingsociety AT gmail] with (1) links to one or more past posts about books made into movies or movie adaptations of books and (2) a quick explanation of why you would like those posts included in the Carnival.  Submissions are due by February 13, 2009.
