February 2009 Summation

Here is an abstract of my literary doings in February.

Books Read

February Total = 3
Year-to-Date Total = 5

So, the good news is that I almost doubled my total from January.  The bad news is that I only read three books.  What with moving, having lots of family in town, and GETTING A PUPPY, I haven’t had that much time to read.  Every book I read this month achieved four stars!  If I HAD to pick one as the best of the month, I’d probably choose American Rust.

Book Club

So, you might have noticed that I moved.  It means that I don’t have a book club any more.  (Frown.)  I’m working on a solution to this problem.  I’ll probably have to start my own.

Miscellany

• The Lit Flicks Challenge has officially ended!  Here’s the wrap-up post.  I managed to complete my own challenge, but fell two movies short from completing my brother’s companion challenge.
• The winner of the Lit Flicks Challenge Giveaway Blowout will be announced tomorrow.  The other challenge winners: Natasha @ Maw Books Blog won a copy of Atonement (September), Movie Viewing Girl won a copy of Jane Eyre (October), Meryl @ My Bit of Earth won a copy of The Constant Gardener (November), Rachelle @ My Book Challenges won a copy of Oliver Twist (December), and Stacy H @ One Girl’s Opinion won a copy of Nights in Rodanthe (January).
