Only one month to go! Here’s the last monthly Lit Flicks Challenge post:
JANUARY WINNER
First things first. The winner of the January giveaway is . . . Stacy H @ One Girl’s Opinion. I’ll be sending her a copy of Nights in Rodanthe, by Nicholas Sparks. It was on her original challenge list but didn’t make it on the final list – Stacy has already completed the Lit Flicks Challenge! Thank you to everyone who participated during the month of January! (We had a total of 98 entries.) I really enjoyed reading everyone’s reviews and memes. Keep ‘em coming.
BOOKWORMS CARNIVAL
Okay, we’ve spent the last five months on book-to-movie adaptations. It’s time now to pull it all together for the Bookworms Carnival! The 23rd edition of the Carnival will be hosted here at The Bluestocking Society. The theme is “books to movies,” which encompasses all of your Lit Flicks Challenge selections. To enter the Carnival, send me an email [thebluestockingsociety AT gmail] with (1) links to one or more past posts about books made into movies or movie adaptations of books and (2) a quick explanation of why you would like those posts included in the Carnival. Submissions are due by February 13, 2009.
