After reading this post by Trish, I was inspired to make my review policies clearer to authors and publishers. I was specifically inspired by (and stole borrowed copiously from) Natasha, Lenore, Trish, and Heather.

I’d love to get everyone’s input. What are your review policies? How do you convey those policies to authors and publishers?

It’s great, Jessica. Clear and informative. I don’t really get review requests, so I never wrote a policy, but you’re all making me want to write one just in case. Also, I kind of want to make a contact form…I love how they look!
I’ve redone my contact page, too, but it’s not as good as yours.
I like what you did with your contact information, especially the section about which genres you like and don’t like. I should probably include something similar on my own site, since I’m getting offers for book that don’t really interest me. Thanks for the great tips!

Very good. Nice and concice. I may have to add what other place I can be found to mine (librarything, twitter, etc.). I think that’s a really nice touch. :)
I think your contact me page is very good. It’s clear and informative. I would think writers would find that very helpful and informative in regard to sening you books to review :)
My policy is pretty simple: I don’t care for review copies. I didn’t have that on my site anywhere until about a month ago, and then I added it under the about page.

Rebecca Reid – I think I might get to the point where I stop accepting review copies. I’ve had to really be careful about what I accept.
That’s really good. I’m writing one now too. I didn’t really worry about it before but I’ve been reading more and more about it so I decided I needed to post something. I need to hurry up and get it finished.
