April Total = 9
Year-to-Date Total = 22
I read many books this month! And I changed my mind about star halves. I revoked them and went back to a straight five-star scale. My pick of the month is definitely Gone with the Wind. Persuasion was a close second.
Book Club
The Madam, by Julianna Baggott - Meeting: April 24, 2009
Gone with the Wind, by Margaret Mitchell – Online discussion
I wasn’t able to attend my new book club this month, but I did read both of the books. I found a new favorite in Gone with the Wind and enjoyed The Madam.
Our selections for May are Everyone is Beautiful, by Katherine Center (face-to-face discussion) and Persuasion, by Jane Austen (online discussion).

I love Persuasion. But obviously I must read Gone With the Wind–something I’ve been meaning to do for awhile. Looks like you had a good reading month :)
I can’t believe you read Gone With The Wind in addition to all those other books! I think I would have spent an entire month on just that one book.
Holy cow, that’s a lot of challenges! I am impressed. :-) And also very glad y’all started the Printz Project!
Incredible! I am overwhelmed by how to track challenges and you seem to have so many – it just overwhelms me some more! good for you.
