I wanted to like this book! I really did! But while I think she’s a good writer, I never really connected with the characters. I really like The Year of Fog, though, so I’m still eagerly awaiting her next book, even though this latest one didn’t do it for me. :)

I’ve heard so much about Richmond’s work, but haven’t tried any yet. From what I’ve heard, I expected this book to be awesome.
