I’ll bet you can guess the plot of this one by the title. An old carnival mechanic dies and meets five people in heaven who shed light and meaning on his life.

I’m sorry, but I can’t come up with much to say about this one. It just didn’t work for me. The writing was okay. The story was trite and extremely convenient. And I just didn’t care about the characters. But it is mercifully short. I’m a little disappointed, as I’ve been hearing about Mitch Albom for years. Since this was only okay, I probably won’t be reading his others any time soon.
