Today, I have a guest post up at my aunt’s lovely blog, Michelle At Play. I highlight five happy books to help get you through the dead of winter. Head on over and check it out.

I love the books you recommended, especially P&P and Edenbrooke. Can you believe I still haven’t read Anne of Green Gables. I love the movies, but yeah, I need to get on that.
PS–I love your new banner! :D
Thanks, Jenni! And I cannot believe that you haven’t read ANNE OF GREEN GABLES! But, actually, I can. :) My 75-year-old grandma read it for the first time recently. It’s never too late.
I have commented there!!!!
Thanks, Suey. You’re the best. I do think you’d enjoy THE HAPPINESS PROJECT. Let me know if you want to borrow it.
Lovely collection.
Thank you. I can’t wait for your list of happy movies.
Oh, I’m heading there. I need some happy books pronto.
I always need them this time of year too. You really need to read EDENBROOKE! (And I need to read MATTHEW SWIFT. I know.)
A new look for your blog! I checked out your guest post and left a comment. It made me realize I don’t read too many “happy reads” these days. Thanks for the suggestions!
Thanks, Laurie! I did have a rather hard time coming up with five happy books. There are lots of happy things that happen in books, but relatively few books that are just mostly happy.
