I agree that the final legal scene is far removed from reality. So are some of the scenes with the step family. I think I was more focused on the family dynamics between Grace and her siblings. Thanks for the link!

Now that my sister’s studying to become a lawyer, I’m beginning to notice how often legal things are portrayed in ridiculous ways. (And if I don’t notice, my sister will absolutely invariably point it out.)
